send Weather Updates- Microsoft Power Automate Usecase

Hey Guys, Today i am going to implement a use case of getting weather info using “MSN weather connector” and sending the details via email.

Note: You can use automatic triggers under “MSN Weather” but for our case we are using a scheduled cloud flow which will run on a set interval.

Let us create our flow without further ado:

We take “Scheduled cloud flow” and “Get current weather”:

Scheduled cloud flow asks for "Interval" and "Frequency"

Above are the inputs what we provide to these activities, lets see how the output looks after the Bot successfully completes the run:

Now let’s take the “Convert time zone” activity to convert “Last Updated” detail to your own timezone value. This activity helps to convert the date timestamp and choose a format string where you are required to set how you want your date time.

Let’s take one more activity to send the recorded details to someone / to yourself using email.

In my case, i have opted for “Gmail” and the activity is “send email”, It requires the below inputs and a few of them are mandatory fields.
