Job Description:
The Senior RPA Developer will be responsible for analyzing, evaluating, designing, developing, and maintaining automated BOTs using UiPath and/or other automation tools. This individual will leverage RPA methodologies across various enterprise automation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain robust BOTs using UiPath.
- Understand business processes from workflow diagrams and conceptualize them as automated solutions.
- Provide production support, including supporting existing code, bug fixes, and enhancements.
- Collaborate with the RPA Tech Lead, RPA Program Lead, RPA stewards, and other team members to understand current processes and how to reengineer and automate them.
- Contribute to end-to-end RPA efforts with a DevOps approach, including upfront configuration, ongoing administration, and support.
- Work with Operational Teams to develop robust runbooks and provide Level 2 and 3 support as needed.
- Support investigation and remediation of production-level issues, production deployments processes, and performance testing.
- Ensure quality by supporting coding and architectural standards and thorough unit testing.
- Assist in testing and UAT efforts.
- Follow secure coding standards and processes, including SDLC and Change Management.
- Participate in design and peer reviews and conduct demos for RPA stewards and business stakeholders.
- Support skills transfer by mentoring new resources on best practices and development.
- Communicate and collaborate effectively within the RPA team, offshore team, and all supporting teams.
- Support the RPA Team’s leaders in developing and implementing standards, policies, and procedures.
- Write procedure docs, peer review code, and create deployment plans for the RPA team.
- Other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or related degree preferred but not required.
- Certification: Certification from UiPath is a plus, but not necessary.
- Experience: At least 5 years’ experience with UiPath studio/Orchestrator.
- Skills: Basic understanding of SQL. Experience with Document Understanding / OCR is a big bonus.
